The job of Project Manager at éolane covers two different functions in terms of designation and content: Product Project Managers (PPM) and Customer Project Managers (CPM).
The PPM is responsible for the development and industrialization of new products. Whether the project originates from a Customer design or an Eolane design, the Project starts with the Client's nomination and concludes with the acceptance of the product for firm orders or up to 6 months after the start of the series for Automotive projects. The PPM ensures adherence to both Customer and internal quality requirements, delivery deadlines for various deliverables and milestones, as well as the project's profitability concerning éolane's management.
The role of the CPM is to manage projects once they are in production or if they involve recurring orders. They are involved from the initial estimation, pilot the launch phases into production, and are responsible for various services related to ongoing orders. The CPM also plays a major role in steering action plans related to financial margins and customer satisfaction indicators compliance.
